Gender Expansive Mutuals (GEMs) is a non-clinical discussion group centered around gender exploration and affirmation. All UCSB students (grad and undergrad) interested in discussing gender or trans experiences, regardless of identity, are welcome to join.
For fall quarter 2026, we will be meeting on Wednesdays from 4-5pm weeks 1-10. Interested students can submit the interest form in our bio. A brief screening meeting will be required in order to receive the location. Students can apply at any time, the form will remain open all year.
The group is cofacilitated by staff/student staff with lived experience. If you have questions about GEMs or are interested in joining, please email equity@sa.ucsb.edu.
