The University of California, Santa Barbara's Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity (RCSGD) has appointed a new director, Leets, who aims to address previous controversies and rebuild trust with the LGBTQ+ community on campus. Leets, with a background in LGBTQ+ advocacy, plans to implement changes such as allowing students to input their preferred pronouns in the university system and increasing outreach to underserved communities to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ students at UCSB.
