Coming Out Monologues
The Coming Out Monologues is an annual event where all the UCSB community can share their experiences navigating gender and sexuality through any medium that calls to them. We have performers sign up to present songs, essays, poetry, monologues, and more. The event finishes with an open mic where audience members can join in!
Keep an eye out during Winter Quarter for an official date and sign ups!
Trans Week of Visibility
Every Spring Quarter, during Week 4, the RCSGD extends our celebration of national Trans+ Day of Visibility into a whole week of events! Our Trans+ Week of Visibility (TWOV) has a wide range of programming including major speakers/performers, educational workshops, social spaces, lunches, and more. The week ends with our huge Trans+ Week of Visibility Resource Fair!
All students are welcome to engage with these events, keep an eye out during the beginning of Spring Quarter for dates and details!
Lavender Graduation Celebration
Our annual Lavender Graduation Ceremony is our way of celebrating and honoring UCSB graduates who engage with the RCSGD! This combined ceremony and dinner is free to attend and open to both graduate and undergraduate students. Graduating students can cross our stage to wrap up their UCSB academic career (for now) with their community of friends, family, and supporters!
Keep an eye on this page during early Spring Quarter for more details!
