Binder Exchange Program
- This ongoing program helps find a new home for gently-used, cleaned binders. If you have a binder that you no longer need, you can drop it off at the RCSGD front desk during business hours.
- If you can't afford a binder on your own, please email rcsgd@sa.ucsb.edu to see if our binder exchange program can provide you with a free binder!
Clothing
We are accepting donations of clothing, jewelry, shoes, accessories, and plastic/paper shopping bags April 1st through 22nd for our spring Trans Clothing Swap! Donations can be dropped off in the marked bins in the SRB or at the RCSGD front desk (3rd floor of the SRB). Large donations can be coordinated by emailing equity@sa.ucsb.edu.
The event will take place Friday, April 24th from 11am - 3pm on the SRB Lawn as part of our Trans Resource Fair. This event provides accessible and affirming clothing options for gender expansive individuals. Donations are not required to receive clothes. All students, staff, and faculty are welcome to participate

Trans Week of Visibility Silent Auction
Every Spring quarter, the RCSGD & a campus affiliated student organization seek donations for the Trans Week of Visibility Silent Auction. Donations are auctioned off during UCSB Trans Week of Visibility typically week 4 of Spring quarter. Proceeds of the silent auction provide grants for trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming UCSB students in the future. Donations can include self-made paintings, drawings, jewelry, knitted items, books, etc.
