Whether you are thinking of starting a student group or are an established student organizations looking for support on your work, the RCSGD is happy to help! You are welcome to schedule time with us to learn about previous and current organizations, resources available to organizations across campus, and how the RCSGD can help. We love collaborating with our student groups as well, our work comes from different sides of student life but heads towards the same goal of creating more welcoming spaces for our community members.

Lounge Reservation for Student Organizations
To reserve the RCSGD lounge for your events and meetings, please fill out the RCSGD Lounge Reservation Request Form.
Reservations requests are for after center hours and not guaranteed as we try our best to accommodate all requests.
Queer Trans Leadership Council (QTLC)
The Queer Trans Leadership Council (QTLC) is a group made up of the RCSGD Assistant Director for Programs and Leadership, RCSGD Community Engagement Coordinator, A.S. Trans and Queer Commission's Internal Coordinator, and representatives from active student organizations uplifting LGBTQIA+ communities and resources.
It's purpose is to inform organizations on RCSGD resources, share updates on their own organization's work, and find helpful collaborations between organizations.
If you are in an student organization centering and supporting LGBTQIA+ students and are interested in joining QTLC, please email our Assistant Director for Programs and Leadership.

La Familia De Colores
- La Familia de Colores is a student organization that actively seeks to create a safe space and gain awareness of the Latin@/Chican@ and LGBTQIA+ community at UCSB. Their objective is to fill the gap and intersect the two communities with each other and supporters.

Associated Students Trans and Queer Commission
Trans and Queer Commission is an Associated Students entity and a campus collaborator for the RCSGD and organizations supporting LGBTQIA+ initiatives. As an Associated Students entity, they vote on funding requests and also speak for the campus queer community on current events.

Black Quare
- Black Quare provides a safe space for folks who identify with the intersection of being both black (of the African diaspora) and of the LGBT community as well as those seeking to engage with and support these communities. The mission is to create visibility and promote information/cultural concerns for underrepresented groups. Black Quare is open to student staff, faculty, and community members.

Out in Stem (OSTEM)
- oSTEM (out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is an organization at UCSB and a chapter of oSTEM Incorporated, the national non-profit organization. They aim to promote and support LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) individuals and their allies in their pursuit of STEM fields.

Keshet at UCSB
Keshet is a safe space that works for the equality of all students navigating LGBTQ+ experiences in Jewish life! At UCSB, our Keshet will be a safe place for all students to hang out and have a fun time! They will also plan and host events that celebrate our identities! Anyone is welcome to come to our meetings and events and they look forward to meeting everyone!

Queer and Trans Community (QTC)
- Queer and Trans Community (QTC) is an open group for students who share a common interest in cultivating, nurturing, and enriching the queer experience at UCSB. They are advocates for queer/trans perspectives and work to ensure that the presence and voices of queer students are recognized and respected by college administration, the student body, and the larger Santa Barbara/Goleta community. Through our active presence and involvement on campus, QTC hopes to confront phobias and heteronormativity while seeking to strengthen the bonds within our community.

Friendly Undergraduate Queers in It Together (FUQIT)
- Friendly Undergraduate Queers in It Together (FUQIT) seeks to provide a welcoming place for UCSB queer/trans+ students and allies to socialize and form strong community bonds. Weekly meetings rotate between crafts, games, and outside activities complete with refreshments. Come out and hang out with FUQIT!

- Queer and Trans Asian Pacific Islander and Desi (QTAPID) is a safe space for queer identified API and their allies, dedicated to highlighting intersectionality, empowering identity, building community, and fostering friendship.

Society for Accessible and Safe Spaces (S.A.S.S.)
- Society for Accessible and Safe Spaces is a transgender, genderqueer, and gender non-conforming support group as well as an advocacy organization aimed at addressing access and safety on campus-owned property. We strive to institute change and incite a discourse that treats economic, racial, and gender issues as inseparable. All students seeking to support their community are welcome!

Undocuqueer and Undocutrans Support Group
- Undocuqueer and Undocutrans Support Group's mission is to support students who may identify within the intersections of being undocumented and LGBTQ+ here at UCSB and for the greater community of supporters at UCSB. This support group was created as a response to the historical and systematic lack of support, resources, and advocacy on campus that satisfied the needs of undocumented, queer and trans people of color.
