Hi I'm Jackson and I'm UCSB's Trans and Nonbinary Empowerment Coordinator. As a second year psychology major I am passionate about supporting the mental health needs of UCSB's transgender community. I previously worked as a Peer Leader for Boston GLASS (GLBTQ Adolescent Social Services), the only organization specifically curated to serving the needs of QTPOC youth in New England. I'm originally from Boston and since coming to UCSB I've found a home amongst the LGBT community here. As the trans empowerment coordinator I hope to extend that community to others. Outside of that I am also the Public and Mental Health Council's QTPOC representative and would be happy to chat about larger public and mental health initiatives at UCSB. I also enjoy drawing, dance, watching cartoons and exploring new music.
