Study & Event Space
The RCSGD Lounge is home to several resources, but is also a wonderful resource itself! This space fits up to 20 people looking to refill on snacks and water, study at our tables and couches, work on class assignments in our cyber center, or rest and meet new friends at the many events hosted in our space. Our friendly team of Office Assistants are there to greet you and help maintain a fun and welcoming environment.
To reserve the RCSGD lounge for your LGBTQIA+ related event/meeting please fill out the RCSGD Lounge Reservation Request. Reservation requests are for after center hours.
Kitchenette & Fridge
The RCSGD Lounge hosts a Kitchenette with a microwave, toaster oven, water dispenser, and instant oatmeal packages as well as a free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate station for our campus community to use throughout the academic year.
We also have a full sized fridge where students can store their lunches and snacks throughout the day.
- *Please note we clean out our fridge every Friday evening.
Healthy Snack Stations
The UCSB Healthy Snack Station program is funded by the Food Security and Basic Needs Taskforce, and made possible by the Promise Scholars Program, Isla Vista Food Co-Op and the Associated Students Food Bank. The Healthy Snack Stations program currently provides healthy snacks and menstrual products to students in 14 locations across campus in an effort to address food insecurity, including the RCSGD!

The David Bohnett Wireless Cyber Center, located within the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity provides the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community and their allies with the resources to further meet the primary academic mission of the university.
RCSGD Library
UCSB Students, Staff, and Faculty are able to check out materials from the RCSGD Library.
RCSGD Books are able to be checked out for 2 weeks with a max of 4 books at any given time.

We offer a variety of free safer sex supplies for students, staff, and faculty to take at their leisure! It's important to be aware of how to use all of the supplies properly, so we've compiled and created a list of how-to's for some safer sex supplies.
