Volunteer Program Overview

The Volunteer & Mentorship Program provides an opportunity for LGBTQIA+ students and advocates to support the mission and goals of the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity at UC Santa Barbara.  Volunteers will specifically work on the RCSGD’s publicity/outreach efforts, and develop leadership skills for their professional and career goals.

Volunteers will get the optional opportunity to be paired and coordinate individual meetings with an assigned LGBTQIA+ Staff, Faculty, or Graduate Student Mentor to discuss their personal well-being and professional development.

Volunteer Tasks and Expectations:

Accepted Volunteers should expect to:

  • Participate and commit to the program for one academic quarter
