Student Health Services Gender-affirming Care Scheduling

Please follow these step-by-step instructions to request a gender-affirming care appointment through your Student Health Portal.

Log into your Student Health MyHealth Portal using your UCSB login. Under the "Home" tab, select "Get Care"

On the next page, select "Schedule an Appointment"

Proceed above for asynchronous care, appointment bookings, and referral requests

Select "Clinic Appointments" 

Select a Clinic Appointments: after hours care, asynchronous care, clinical appointments, laboratory services, entrance immunizations & flu shots

Select "Medical Services"

Select a Medical Services: Nutrion Services, Physical Therapy, X-ray, Vaccine/Injections/TB Screening - Vaccines and vaccine review, hormone shots, other injections.

Select "Continue to book an appointment"

Select Continue to book an appointment

Select "Gender-Affirming Care/Transgender"

Select gender-affirming care/transgender: cold/cough/sore throat/respiratory, COVID positive concerns, follow up appointment, gender affirming care/transgender, musculoskeletal/back/joint/muscles, sexual & reproductive health

For patients who want to know more about gender-affirming treatment options, select "Questions about Gender-Affirming Treatment Options."

For new patients accessing gender-affirming care, select "Start (or transfer) gender-affirming hormone therapy."

For continuing patients who want to schedule a follow-up appointment, select "Follow-up Appointments."

For continuing patients who want to schedule their hormone injection with medical staff, select "Hormone injection with RN."

For new patients accessing gender-affirming care, select Start (or transfer) gender-affirming hormone therapy.

For questions or to start gender-affirming hormone therapy, you will be prompted to send a secure message. Please list your question, briefly summarize what you are looking for, or indicate whether you are transferring or starting gender-affirming hormone therapy for the first time and press send. Once your request is submitted, a member of our Gender Care Team will reach out to you to schedule an appointment!
